B&C's Representative

The two key points to marketing on the Internet are, of course,

  1. Getting found in the first place
  2. Keeping Web visitors beyond that first glance

B&C's Representative* addresses both issues. This Web site package is designed to generate on-line sales. We do it with a special point of difference:

an on-line catalog which you can update at will.
Newsletter and "announcer" included!

This is a commercial Web site kernel, with full Web site performance and support, with the catalog included at no extra charge. B&C's Representative can be added to your existing Web site, or it could serve as your whole site -- for the company, an individual salesperson, or a sales team. It provides your company with an Internet sales generation package quickly, easily and professionally.

For just a moment, become one of your own on-line prospects. Visit your favorite Search Engine and type in the most elemental of criteria. As an example, we specified "sales representatives" and for a region we picked "New England." From Google, back came some 361,000 pages (up from 186,000 just two years ago). Here are three searches, already keyed in for you -- through Google, Yahoo, and HotBot. If you're in New England, are you in there anywhere? Or are you "lost?" Ouch! (Modify the entry for any area of the country -- results are often similar.)

Let's take it an important step further.Does it do any good to be found? Not everybody enters your site through your Home Page. Visit the sites that you do see in the above searches, and then ask...

Is there anything on this page which
would prompt me to call upon them?"

During one survey, we checked out the first 30 sites we found on a search engine, and found:

  • One dead Web site (oh, well; it does happen).
  • One dead page -- they had moved their listing of representatives and apparently never cleaned up their Web presence.
  • Still alive -- but might as well have been just as dead -- fully 17% gave nothing of value to a Web visitor other than the briefest contact information.
  • Only half of the Web sites we look at had at least developed links to other useful pages. These sites make the assumption that you probably entered through the "front door" and already know and want the product. Still, they are wise enough not to take any chances.
  • Out of all of sites surveyed, only 20% provided a reason for calling the company or the representative on the page we entered.

Only one out of five
were making good use of this
valuable on-line marketing space.

B&C's Representative is designed to meet this challenge. Our original version was built for a specific sales environment. With our support, this client eventually developed into one of the largest Web sites in their market. Since then, B&C's Representative has developed into an inexpensive way for both local and regional sales groups to get seen. The layout is flexible enough to meet many needs. Then our Internet catalog was added. The result is a consistency of approach which strengthens your company's presence. Importantly, our approach highlights reasons why people will want to buy from youon the Internet.

B&C's Representative includes all of our standard services. Representative packages them in a way which you can get up and running very efficiently. As part of B&C's Representative, you will also find:

  • A group directory includes individuals' names, contact information, and Web links.
  • Your group is submitted to major Internet Search Engines and Directories as we always do, plus up to a dozen industry specific operations, as available. Individual submissions are optional.
  • Updateable Internet based catalog capability at no extra cost.
  • Optional additional pages provide supplementary material for your group members. This is ideal for anyone who has a special service area or product responsibility.
  • Built-in corporate plus individual direct response helps to build your sales leads.
  • Product highlights and photographs keep the customer focused.
  • Typically, the "background" for a page might be your own logo, produced light enough that it would not inhibit legibility of the text on the page. Notice the light stone background on this page.
  • Each Member page has the freedom to define just what information would appear, within a specific format to control quality and consistency.
  • Separate e-mail pages support the association and each of its members. These are form generated messages with standard e-mail backup. The result is that each member can be assured of getting the information they require in order to turn the message into a useful first-contact tool.
  • Unbundled pricing allows you to build the configuration which best fits your group's needs.
  • All Internet links are fully tested and guaranteed as of date of completion.
  • Repairs are made free of charge.

This is a site for Marketing

How The Representative package works. Baughan and Company, rocksolidsite.com rock solid site

Here is a very strong, very flexible format, and quite affordable. B&C's Representative combines several important facets.

  • A "Master" Web presents your group. Make it office oriented, with a centralized sales presentation -- show your products and services.
  • Separate "Member" pages introduce your sales team. Each virtually has an agent oriented Web site. It allows each member to spread his or her wings, and add special capabilities to this presence. Highlighting your people makes their entry into client offices that much easier; every individual looks just as strong as his or her own Web page.
  • Updateable Internet based catalog capability at no extra cost.

This approach is also customer oriented. It provides enough information to escort your prospect in, yet it is designed to help get your phone to ring -- the purpose of any marketing -- so you can sell.

This is a site for sales building

Efficiently put the word out, and do so with the least expense. B&C's Sales Representative* is similar to the above, except that it does not include the On-Line Catalog.

As with B&C's Representative, your organization gets a consistent Web presence. You win! The members of your team benefit from each other's presence. They win!

They also benefit by offering their own special approach. They win again! And by offering a service to several of your team members at once, rather than one at a time, we can offer a special low price.

This is a site for training and customer support

An entire area of the Web site can be "walled off" under password protection -- each salesperson can have his or her own password. Use this area to disseminate in-house announcements and training materials.

A separate area may also be set up for customers and clients. Each of them may also have his or her own password. Use this area to distribute information regarding upcoming "private" sales, post samples for customer review, etc.

Give it a try. Click the button. Your password is "test" -- all lower case, and without the quotes.

That's B&C's Representative and B&C's Sales Representative in action. Preview B&C's On-Line Catalog now or contact us today for further details.
